A review of 2019 with a look into the future

2019 is almost behind us and as is typical we’ll spend some time to review what happened. A lot of big things took place.

Firstly, our portfolio.construction site was relaunched in its current form. A site developed from previous experience and changed to provided even easier insight based on our list of ranked companies. This was a big effort, and one based on many iterations.

Secondly, the next 10 portfolio strategy was implemented, and made available on sites like Collective2. We see this as a first step among several towards making access to the tools more broadly available.

Looking at performance of the strategy with just a few days left of 2019, we’ll end up around 30% returns for the year. With a strong initial drive and some easing towards the end, overall this is a solid result. It will be exciting to see what the 2020 market brings us.

While looking ahead, the next steps for AgoraOpus will be a further focus on tooling. While we think a website can do a lot for many, there are other avenues also worth looking into. This is what’s currently happening, and while it might take some time before we can show these things to you, be sure that this is actively being worked on.

And with that I hope you had a profitable 2019 and the best of luck with or without our tools in 2020.
