Building better portfolios
How it works
Using advanced statistical models (what some might call artificial intelligence or machine learning) combined with public data on how traders and investors are allocating their money, we produce a list of ranked companies.
The top of this list consists of companies that we deem too hot. We assign a fire icon to these. A company that is too hot might have done very well in the past, but is now showing signs of being overheated. We begin assuming that its shareholders are expecting too much, and they will likely be pulling out soon.
Then we have those companies that are just right. Hot but not too hot. These are the companies we think would make great portfolio members, and on these we assign a thumbs up icon. Companies with a thumbs up ranking have usually shown strong performance, and also have signs of continued strong performance going forward.
